"Customising your holidays allow you to travel where and when YOU want. You can take as long as you want in any of the sites and will never hear "The coach is leaving here in 2 hours time, please make sure you are on it" as with other tour operators. Enchanting have a team of dedicated staff who seems to bend over backwards in helping you pick and chose your routes, giving you the perfect holiday as it enables you to do what you want to do and when. The hotels they recommend we found were excellant. The transport is very comforrtable and the drivers are second to none. We have now used Enchanting for two tours of India, first to the north, Delhi, Agra etc. A very full schedule and interesting venues, especially the Taj Mahal and this year to the south. A completely different holiday but just as exciting. This was more relaxing, just how we wanted it, but equally as good. "We wanted something special for our 60th and 65th birthdays and were far from disappointed. I had waited 55 years to see the Taj Mahal and we were both in tears on seeing it. The story that was explained in detail by the guide overwhelmed us.

Since we first enquired about the tour in March, Prathima has become like one of our family, with the help and guidance she has given. The love of her country has blossomed through to us and we felt as though she was coming with us. A true credit, not only to your country but to your company as well. And once the trip itinerary was finalized, the time of year was set that would optimze weather and tourist crowds. Their willingness to work with us as long as necessary to develop objectives and itineraries was outstanding. "

You can get cheaper deals from a variety of companies but I would beware of this. India is a wonderful place but has many contradictions, great charm mixed with downright irritating and irrational behaviour with a tendency to sometimes tell you things that you want to hear, but are not necessarily true. It is nice to have the security of a professional and dedicated team like the one at EI to make sure this does not become an issue.
